In Photography a shutter is a device that allows light to pass for a determinded period of time, for the purpose of exposing photographic film or a light - sensetive electronic sensor to light to capture a permanent image of a scene.

In optics, an aperture is a hole or an opening through which light travels . In Photography this can be measured in increments called F-stops.

Lens the camera captures the light from the subject and brings it to a focus on the film or a detector.

Sports Photography Bob Martin is a multi-award winning sports photographer specialising in shooting action, graphic and editorial pictures for advertising, corporate and editorial clients. During a career spanning the last twenty years, Bob has photographed every major sporting event; from the last ten Summer and Winter Olympics, to Elephant Polo and Horse Racing on Ice. His work has taken him to the farthest corners of the world, and his photographs have been published in numerous publications including Sports Illustrated, Time, Newsweek, Life Magazine, Stern, Paris Match, Bunte, L"Equipe, The Sunday Times and The New York Times to mention just a few.   •  Don't take food or drink into the dark room, Because drink could be spilled and will then be a slippery surface.
  • Check the revolving door, So not to let light into the dark room and ruin the quality of photos
  • Lights turned off in the dark room e.g Phones & main lights. So to not to harm the photo's quality.
  • Checmicals all heading in the same direction, So that chemicals to not become mixed together.
  • Wear an apron to prevent getting chemicals on your clothes.
  • Don't get your phone out in the dark room as it could distract others.
